Transport Ease and Management Services (T.E.A.M.S.) is proud to announce
our continued efforts in providing our clients with leading edge freight
and border management support. Our business priority is to ensure we
are equipped with the latest technology and border initiatives, in order
to better service you, our valued customer.
We are proud to announce the following:
T.E.A.M.S. is FAST approved for Canada bound freight. We recently received
approval for both FAST supporting programs Customs Self Assessment (CSA)
and Partners in Protection (PIP).
T.E.A.M.S. is FAST approved for U.S. bound freight. We recently were
approved for membership to Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
(C-TPAT) and completed the necessary steps to be approved for FAST U.S.
Our trucks are now equipped with windshield tags or transponders that
can be read by FAST equipped ports of entry into the United States.
T.E.A.M.S. recently added UpfactorRNS to our latest border management
system. This internet-based software solution enables us to receive
and communicate release decisions made by Canada Border Services Agency
(CBSA) directly. This new feature provides us 24/7 access via internet
to confirm Pre-Arrival Review System (PARS) shipments and provides a
host of benefits to you, our valued client.
T.E.A.M.S. is already busy preparing for the upcoming U.S. ACE initiative.
Effective November 15th, 2004, depending on our port of crossing, we
will be required to provide Advance Electronic Cargo Data to U.S. Customs,
at least one hour prior to arriving cargo into the United States. We
will be ready and equipped with the tools to ensure we do not experience
border delays as a result of this latest border initiative.
