Candidate must have:

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 year experience with tractor trailer
  • Clear commercial abstract

Full-time Junior Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Junior CSR to work in our Winnipeg office. This would be a full time year-round position.

 

As a Junior CSR you will:

  • Provide first-class customer service
  • Complete 99.9% order entry accuracy for 30-60+ orders per day
  • Obtain extensive knowledge of each customers’ individual needs
  • Ensure customers’ needs are being met for shipment requirements
  • Respond quickly and accurately to continuous emails throughout the day
  • Manage steady phone calls throughout the day
  • Provide rate quotes to customers
  • Communicate effectively with load planners and dispatch
  • Booking appointments with shippers and consignees
  • Work close with the director of business development
  • Work with third party logistics department on brokered loads
  • Trace shipments in advance to eliminate service failures
  • Approve customer invoice amounts daily
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

 

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

  • Transportation industry experience (Would be an asset but not a requirement)
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn in-house computer programs
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior multi-tasking skills
  • Accountability and dependability
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrate a talent to thrive in fast pace environment and cope well under pressure
